Hugh's 4th Annual Swap Meet

Saturday, January 4

Hugh McCourt will be hosting the 3rd Annual Swap Meet at his Custom Metal Works' Shop located at 3614 98 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta.

This 4th Annual event has been successful in past years, and we are looking forward to seeing all of you there. It's a great place to meet our fellow riders over the winter, and to get great deals on parts!

Start going through your vintage MX parts, riding gear, jackets, magazines, etc...and bring them over.

We look forward to seeing you, and your goods, in the New Year!

Calgary Motorcycle Show Exhibit

Friday, January 10-12

We secured a table at the Calgary Motorcycle Show is a great way to showcase our club member's bikes and to generate interest in our Vintage MX Club.

We will need bikes for the show, probably 1-3 bikes and we need volunteers to work the booth over the weekend.

We will be looking for club members/friends and family to take care of the booth over the weekend. An excellent perk is you get free access to the Motorcycle Show, possibly, free parking as well, and all you have to do is promote the club you love for a few hours during the day.

This year the show is open Friday Jan 10th, Saturday Jan 11th and Sunday Jan 12th.

So here are the time slots for volunteering, please let us know before Friday,  January 3 , 2019 (or SOONER). We require 2 volunteers per shift:

Friday Noon - 4 PM

Friday 5PM - 9 PM

Saturday 10 AM - 3 PM

Saturday 3 PM - 8 PM

Sunday 10 am - 2 PM

Sunday 1 PM - 5 PM

We will also require 1-3 bike for the show and will get this confirmed shortly. If you want to volunteer a bike for the show, let us know…

Please contact Hans Christensen at hchristen@shaw.ca and let him know your availability for the weekend.

Show your support for the club!

Thank you for all the members who volunteered for the weekend and who brought their vintage bikes to showcase. This will be a big boost to our club and will let people know we are out there!

Edmonton Motorcycle Show Exhibit

Friday, January 17-19

The Edmonton Motorcycle Show is a great way to showcase our club member's bikes and to generate interest in our Vintage MX Club.

We will need bikes for the show, usually around 6 - 8 of them. We do showcase a variety of bike/makes/models, and would like other members or riders to step up and participate in the show. Many people visit the Edmonton Motorcycle Show, so it is great to have different bikes every year, to keep it fresh!

We will be looking for club members/friends and family to take care of the booth over the weekend. An excellent perk is you get free access to the Motorcycle Show, possibly, free parking as well, and all you have to do is promote the club you love for a few hours during the day.

This year the show is open Friday Jan 17th, Saturday Jan 18th and Sunday Jan 19th.
