We are pleased to announce that the VMX Alberta Annual Banquet has been booked in the Cascade Room at the Radisson Hotel in Red Deer this year.

We've decided to bring the banquet back to Red Deer, and to book it on the same weekend at the Red Deer Motorcycle/Motocross Swap Meet, which is on Sunday. So essentially, we will have a full VMX weekend starting with the Banquet on Saturday night and the Swap Meet the next day, Sunday.

The Radisson Hotel has offered us a special rate of $104 plus tax per night for 1 king bed or 2 queen bedrooms. Please note that all of our rates includes a Full Hot Buffet breakfast from 5:30 am to 10:00 am, access to Pool , Steam Room, Hot Tub and Planet Fitness Gym. Sean Burke is our MC for the night again, he and Nicole never disappoint. Something new for this year, we have secured Five Star DJ Services to play the tunes through out the night, so we can dance the night away!

As stated, Sunday, October 25 is the Red Deer Motorcycle/Motocross Swap Meet. THE CLUB WILL BE RENTING THE TABLES. Tony Paxton has agreed to take the lead on the Swap Meet. Please let Tony know if you are planning on selling bike related items at the Swap Meet that day and he will rent tables accordingly. Thank you Tony for organizing this piece of the weekend. This banquet serves as opportunity for all members, friends and family to celebrate a great year of events. The room booked for this event is one we have used before, complete with dance floor and we have it booked from 5:00 PM to 1:00 pm! We’ll have a cash bar like last year, along with some wine bottles, courtesy of VMX Alberta, these will be available on the tables, so please, do not purchase wine, we have you covered!
Who will win the coveted Dale Aubin’s trophy creation of MVP (Most Valuable Person) this year! This is an evening you must attend!

Along with a great supper, DJ music, major prizes from our sponsors, year end video, and a great night with friends, breakfast will be available at the hotel the next day, so you can fill up before heading out to the Swap Meet.
